Apple Lets Users Tap Into Safari's Passwords & AutoFill To Log In To Apps In iOS 8

As part of its “Continuity” initiative, Apple is letting other apps access usernames and passwords stored in Safari in iOS 8. As noted by 9to5Mac, the latest iteration of Apple’s mobile operating system allows users to easily log in to apps by automatically entering the login data from Safari’s Passwords & AutoFill storage system. This does away with the need to manually enter usernames and passwords, which may diminish app engagement.
